Jonathan M Bigwood, MD

Dr. Jonathan Bigwood is a primary care physician board certified in pediatrics at Inova Health System. He joined Inova in 2023 and has been practicing since 2003. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Bigwood worked as a pediatrician at Monument Health Hospital in Spearfish, SD. Dr. Bigwood is grateful to have grown up in a large family, where education was valued, as those formative experiences helped steer him toward medicine and pediatrics. Experiences gained in a variety of clinical settings helped broaden his skills, but moreover, it helped him to empathize with children and be able to guide their families as they navigate a variety of medical concerns. Outside the office, Dr. Bigwood enjoys running, cycling and equitation. He is fluent in Spanish.
