John Gaul

In his role as Chief Legal Officer / General Counsel of Inova, John is responsible for all legal affairs relating to Inova, including corporate governance, litigation, regulatory matters and transactional activity, and provides legal consultation and leadership to Inova's senior management team and all of its operating units. Before joining Inova, John served as general counsel and secretary of Sunrise Senior Living, Inc., a then NYSE-listed company that develops and operates senior-living communities in the U.S. and internationally. Prior to that, he was a partner with Hogan & Hartson LLP (now Hogan Lovells) in Washington, DC. John received his Bachelor's degree in business administration from Georgetown University and is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center.
