Expand Content An MHA, MHSA, and MBA with Healthcare concentration or previous healthcare experience meet the qualifications of the program. What documents are needed to be submitted? Expand Content Please see the official application link (found on the inovacareers website) to identify required documentation. A complete application is required for consideration. Required documents may include a cover letter, resume, letters of recommendation, your graduate school transcript, and a personal statement about your interest in healthcare and how the Inova Administrative Fellowship Program will help accomplish your short and long-term goals. Who should cover letters be addressed to? Expand Content Please address your cover letter(s) to the Inova Administrative Fellowship Selection Committee. What does the interview process entail? Expand Content The interview process consists of a rolling two round progression consisting of interviewers from the selection committee and executive leadership. I work a full-time job; can I still work there and complete the fellowship? Expand Content No. The fellowship program is a full-time, paid position. I am currently employed with Inova. Can I apply to the fellowship program and how will this affect my salary? Expand Content Current team members may apply to the fellowship program. We offer a competitive salary & benefits for the Fellowship program. The recruitment team will work with current team members to determine salary options if they are awarded a fellowship position. Will I have a position within Inova after the 1-year fellowship? Expand Content Fellows will work directly with our recruiting team to find available opportunities as part of offboarding. What is the program structure? Expand Content The program is a 12-month rotational program where fellows will work alongside a mentor/preceptor and independently on varying healthcare projects. What are the working hours, salary, and benefits? Expand Content The fellows will receive a competitive salary and all Inova benefits for working normal full-time business hours. How are fellows paired with respective preceptors? Expand Content Preceptors will be determined based on the projects each fellow is tasked to support. What are the lengths of rotations? Expand Content Rotation length will be aligned to the organization's priority work. What areas will fellows be focused on supporting? Expand Content Executive Administration, Clinical Enterprise (service lines and sites of care), Operations, Strategic Planning, Finance, Human Resources, and IT. Will the two selected fellows share preceptors and mentors? Expand Content Fellows will not have the same preceptors or mentors during the same timeframe but may rotate to the same individual at different times in the fellowship period.
