General Information Age Group Adults ages 40 and older Status Recruiting Protocol Number NCT04618809 Background Information The purpose of this research study is to enhance the care of the older patient with mGC/mEC/mGEJC. The study will evaluate the benefit of incorporating geriatric assessments into the routine care of patients. Offered At Inova Schar Cancer Institute 8081 Innovation Park Drive Fairfax, VA 22031A department of Inova Fairfax Hospital Eligibility Information Adults age 70 and older Ability to read and understand English, ability to sign consent, and complete a self-assessment evaluation Evidence of metastatic gastric cancer (mGC), metastatic esophageal cancer (mEC), or metastatic gastroesophageal junction cancer (mGEJC). Patients can be enrolled at any stage of their treatment or disease course Ongoing active therapy for mGC.
