Ana M Born, MD

Dr. Ana Maria Born is a physician board certified in family practice. She joins Inova Medical Group with over 5 years of clinical experience. She has a special interest in management of women’s health and preventative medicine for the whole family. Most recently Dr. Born served as a physician at an internal medicine practice in Alexandria, VA, prior to that in family practice in Bealton, VA. Dr. Born became interested in family practice because she believes that treating the whole family is the most effective way to help people stay healthy. The context of the family brings a lot of dynamics that sometimes cannot be just explained by the individual. Her goal is to help her patients get the most out of life by increasing their quality of life through good preventative medicine. Dr. Born is a native of Caguas, Puerto Rico. She currently resides in Burke, VA with her husband. In her spare time she likes to hike, kayak, go to the theater and attend concerts.
