Asma Islam, MD

Dr. Asma Islam is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. She joined Inova Medical Group with more than 10 years of clinical experience. Dr. Islam's goal is to help her patients stay healthy. She chose family medicine because it allows her to provide comprehensive care in an environment that is sensitive to the needs of her patients and their families. As a family medicine physician, Dr. Islam believes it is her responsibility to integrate the most recent advances in medicine and technology into her daily practice. She is dedicated to researching current medical literature and applying the most up-to-date practices in the care of her patients. Dr Islam was born in Bangladesh. She currently resides in Aldie, VA with her spouse and two children. In her spare time, she likes to travel.
