Bao-Chau Audrey T Nguyen, MD

Dr. Audrey Nguyen is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. She joined Inova Health System in 2022 and has been practicing since 2020. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Nguyen worked at George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates in Washington, DC. She completed her residency at the University of Virginia in family medicine, where she served as Chief Resident. During residency, she also completed the global health leadership track, where she was a dedicated provider for refugee patients and worked with global underserved communities in Latin America and with the Navajo Nation. Dr. Nguyen enjoys working with underserved, vulnerable populations including members of minority populations and patients who have experienced health disparities. Nutrition and lifestyle counseling as well as chronic disease management are clinical areas of interest for Dr. Nguyen. Her goal, as a primary care physician, is to help patients be advocates in their own healthcare and improve both understanding and rates of preventive care in the community.
