David B McDonald, MD

Dr. David McDonald is a primary care physician board certified in internal medicine. He joins Inova Medical Group with over 35 years of clinical experience. He has a special interest in management of adult medical problems and preventive health. Most recently Dr. McDonald served as an member of the Inova Fairfax Hospital Credentials Committee and is the past Section Chief of Internal Medicine at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Dr. McDonald became interested in internal medicine because it is the epitome of being a doctor. His goal is to help his patients maximize a healthy, happy and dignified life. A native of Oklahoma, Dr. McDonald currently resides in Fairfax with his wife. In his spare time he likes to play golf and hike.
