Inova Cares Clinic for Women The Inova Cares Clinic for Women (ICCW) was created in 1960 to serve the uninsured women of Fairfax County. Since then, the program has also expanded to Northern Virginia. Our teams offer a range of OB-GYN services and are proud to promote early and continuous prenatal care for their culturally diverse patient populations. City of Alexandria Inova Cares Clinic for Women - Alexandria opened in 2021 to serve residents of Alexandria and surrounding areas. The program is a service offered to the community in collaboration with the City of Alexandria Health Department, serving uninsured and low-income patients with household income up to 400 percent of the U.S. Federal Poverty Guidelines. This clinic provides comprehensive outpatient obstetrical services and gynecological care as well as nonstress testing, all at little to no cost to the patient. Loop electrosurgical excision procedures and colposcopy procedures will be available in summer/fall 2022. Additionally, ICCW provides support services including radiology, laboratory, genetic testing, diabetes management, case management, social work, family planning and nutritional counseling. Fairfax County Inova Cares Clinic for Women offers three locations in Fairfax County: Falls Church, Herndon and Mount Vernon/Alexandria South. The program is a service offered to the community in collaboration with local health departments and community agencies, serving uninsured and low-income patients up to 400% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines (FPL). Our Fairfax County clinics provide comprehensive outpatient obstetrical services and gynecological care as well as non-stress testing, LEEP and colposcopy procedures at little to no cost to the patient. We also offer specialty gynecological care, including maternal fetal medicine, Gyn/Onc and Uro/Gyn services. Additionally, ICCW provides support services including: radiology, laboratory, genetic testing, diabetes management, case management, social work, family planning and nutritional counseling. The clinic is staffed by a team of board-certified OB-GYN physicians and midwives who are bilingual (English/Spanish) and dedicated to serving our diverse community. Prenatal education classes are also offered. This program is a service of Inova Loudoun Hospital and offered to the community in collaboration with the Loudoun County Health Department and HealthWorks for Northern Virginia.
