Dr. Donald Brideau trained and served in the U.S. Navy as a family physician. He moved to Northern Virginia in 1992. During his career in the area, he has continued to serve the community as a family physician, and also served as Chief Medical Officer and then CEO at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital and later Inova Fair Oaks Hospital before returning to full-time clinical practice. Dr. Brideau specializes in treating tobacco dependence and performs comprehensive skin exams utilizing dermoscopy for improved detection of skin cancers. He is an Associate Clinical Professor at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences where he obtained his medical degree. He received his master’s degree in medical management from Carnegie Mellon University. He serves as the Medical Director in Aesthetics for the National Procedures Institute.
