Eric Castor, LAT, ATC, ITAT

Eric Castor is a state licensed and nationally certified athletic trainer who joined the Inova Sports Medicine Concussion Program with over 18 years' experience as a certified athletic trainer. Eric earned his Bachelor of Science degree in exercise and sport science from Pennsylvania State University before moving to Spanaway, WA, to work at Olympic Sports and Spine Rehabilitation. While in Washington State, Eric provided athletic training services in the clinic and high school settings. Relocating to Northern Virginia in 2001, Eric became a head athletic trainer within the Fairfax County Public School System. During his 12 years as a head athletic trainer, Eric provided the most comprehensive care available to each athlete at Chantilly and Centreville High Schools. Eric's added interest in the recognition and management of concussion led him into a role as a certified athletic trainer specializing in concussion management at Fairfax Family Practice prior to joining Inova. Eric is a native of Harrisville, PA, and currently lives in Northern Virginia with his wife, Emily, and two sons, Carson and Riley.
