Erica N Campbell, MD

Dr. Erica Campbell is an Advanced Illness and Geriatrics physician board certified in geriatric medicine and family medicine. Dr. Campbell joined Inova with more than four years of clinical experience. She has a special interest in the management of geriatrics, chronic illness management and palliative care.  Most recently, Dr. Campbell completed a geriatrics fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Campbell became interested in elder care during her childhood, as she would often accompany her father, a pastor, to various hospitals and nursing homes. During both medical school and residency, she found senior care to be both personally enriching and often professionally underrepresented. She has a genuine love for this population of patients and her goal is to provide excellent skilled and compassionate medical care to these medically underserved and complicated patients. Dr. Campbell was born in Philadelphia and relocated to Virginia Beach as a young child. She currently resides in Washington, DC, with her "furry" child, Bella, a rescue from an animal shelter in Houston. In her spare time, Dr. Campbell likes to travel, attend hot yoga and take various dance classes.
