Inger L Rosner, MD

Dr. Inger Rosner is a board-certified urologic oncologist. She joined Inova Health System in 2020 and has been practicing urologic oncology since 2007. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Rosner was the Director of the Urologic Oncology Service at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Additionally, she was the Director of the Center for Prostate Disease Research at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Dr. Rosner was the Principal Investigator for several research protocols and clinical trials and has published dozens of papers based on her research in the field of urology oncology. She is interested in patient health care disparities and quality of life outcomes in patients diagnosed with and treated for prostate cancer along their continuum of cancer care. Additionally, her clinical interests include multi-disciplinary care of urologic cancer patients from the newly diagnosed to the advanced stages of disease. She specializes in minimally-invasive and robotic-assisted surgery. Dr. Rosner received her Doctor of Medicine from Uniformed Services University and completed her surgical residency in urology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. She did her fellowship training in urologic oncology at the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Rosner served 23 years on active duty service in the United States Army and retired as Colonel. Dr. Rosner is married to Dr. Michael Rosner, a neurosurgeon at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. They have three sons and live in Bethesda, MD.
