Jacqueline Maier, LPTA, CLT

Jackie has been a licensed physical therapist assistant since 2012. She completed her Associates of Applied Science degree at Northern Virginia Community College in Springfield, Virginia, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Jackie has experience in various practice settings including outpatient, sub-acute rehabilitation, and home health; working as a contract-travel therapist for two years prior to becoming a full-time team member at Inova in 2014. A member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Jackie enjoys assisting with lobbying efforts to advance the PT profession and dedicates time for community outreach. Jackie is an adjunct faculty member at Northern Virginia Community College, teaching on campus and in the field as a credentialed clinical instructor for PTA students. Jackie is also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist with additional education in oncology rehabilitation with emphasis on improving function after breast cancer intervention. In her spare time she enjoys reading, various fitness activities and cheering on local sports teams.
