Jessica Ellison, LPTA

Jessica first joined Inova Physical Therapy as a Rehabilitation Technician in 2013. She then graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northern Virginia Community College with her Associate of Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2016 to begin her career as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). Between her work as a technician and a PTA, Jessica gained experience with military members at the Hickam Outpatient Clinic in Honolulu, HI, as well as with senior and geriatric patients at skilled nursing facilities with Genesis Rehab Services. Her continuing education course topics include treatment of the shoulder, running injuries, pelvic floor, osteoporosis and myofascial release techniques. Jessica is passionate about patient care and teaching people how to return to previous activities safely. She has found an atmosphere of motivation, encouragement, and support through Inova Physical Therapy since her journey began as a patient in 2006. She continually strives to contribute her best to this healing space. Prior to becoming a PTA, Jessica was active in her church and community while raising her two children. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys running, hiking and eating tasty food with her husband.
