Laura D'Costa, PT, DPT

Laura D'Costa, PT, DPT, joined Inova Physical Therapy in 2021. She graduated from Elon University with bachelor of science degrees in exercise science and dance science. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in 2020. Laura was able to combine her passions of rehabilitation and the arts by completing a graduate certificate in performing arts medicine at Shenandoah University to further enhance her treatment and screening of dancers, musicians and vocalists. Laura has clinical experience in multiple outpatient orthopedic settings working with patients from the pediatric to geriatric populations with diverse diagnoses. She sees the importance of patient education to empower patients to return to the activities they enjoy. Laura looks forward to continuing to develop her skills with the Inova Physical Therapy team. Originally from Maryland, Laura is new to the Northern Virginia area and is looking forward to hiking, going to the beach and spending time with family and friends.
