Michel Bornacelly-Perez, MD

Dr. Michel Bornacelly-Perez is a Board certified Family Medicine specialist. He joins Inova Medical Group with more than 16 years of diverse experience. He has a special interest in management of chronic diseases including Hypertension, Diabetes and Preventive Medicine. Prior to joining Inova Medical Group, Dr. Bornacelly-Perez worked as a staff physician for the Faculty of Family Medicine Residency program at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital in Bronx, New York. There he divided his time between academic activities as clinical preceptor and providing medical care to patients from different socio-economic backgrounds and all age groups. Dr. Bornacelly-Perez became interested in Family Medicine because it gives him the opportunity to provide medical care to all members of the family and allows him to develop personal and strong patient-physician relationships. Dr. Bornacelly-Perez currently resides in Centreville, Virginia. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his two children and family, also enjoys outdoors activities and sports like soccer, tennis and biking.
