Quang Nguyen, MD

Dr. Quang Nguyen is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. He joined Inova Health System in 2022 and has been practicing since 2014. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Nguyen worked at NYU Langone Health in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Nguyen enjoys managing clinical areas of interest such as patient education and advocacy, a shared decision-making model, developmental pediatrics, weight management, mental health, and women's health. He has experience working with entire families including caring for children, parents and grandparents. Dr. Nguyen also enjoys working with the immigrant community and provides medical care in Spanish and Vietnamese in addition to English. Dr. Nguyen feels the physician-patient relationship is rooted in trust. A person is much more than their illness, and healing is possible even in the face of terminal illness. As a family physician, Dr. Nguyen is also trained to understand an individual's health in the context of family and community. His goals regarding patient care include accurately diagnosing and treating patients as well as providing patients with the knowledge and resources necessary to achieve their vision of good health.
