Raquel Vargas, PT, DPT, OCS, CMTPT, CKTP

Raquel has been with Inova Health System since 2015 and has been a licensed physical therapist since 2005. She received her education at the University of Puerto Rico where she earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree and subsequently earned her transitional Doctorate from Northeastern University in Boston. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. Raquel has certifications as a Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS), Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT) and is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT). She enjoys working with students and is an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor. Raquel has worked mainly in outpatient settings, treating orthopedic injuries and post-operative rehab. In addition to treating common orthopedic injuries she also has experience in treating patients with neurological pathologies. In her spare time Raquel enjoys cooking, traveling, reading and hiking with her dog.
