Romona D Satchi, MD

Dr. Romona Satchi is a specialty care physician board certified in endocrinology, internal medicine, and obesity medicine. Prior to joining Inova, she was a medical officer at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, helping to regulate and approve new endocrinology medications. Most recently, she worked as an endocrinologist with Mount Vernon Internal Medicine. She specializes in managing a broad spectrum of endocrinology conditions including diabetes, polycystic ovarian syndrome, osteoporosis, and thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal disorders. Dr. Satchi has a special interest in obesity medicine. She believes that obesity is a complex, chronic disease which requires an individualized approach. She is passionate about working with her patients to achieve their health goals and improve obesity-related complications. Dr. Satchi currently resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and two sons. During her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, baking and spending time with her family.
