Stacy Niederman is a board certified physician associate who joined Inova in 2015. In her role, she treats patients with orthopedic trauma injuries, infections, joint replacements and other musculoskeletal injuries. Stacy also provides clinical support for orthopedic surgeons, advanced practice providers and clinical research team. Prior to working in orthopedic trauma, she was a physician assistant for pediatric surgery. Stacy completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida where she was an athletic trainer for the Florida Gators football team. She then completed her first master's degree at Louisiana State University (LSU) where she was a graduate assistant Athletic Trainer for the men's and women's track and field and cross country teams. While she worked for them, the Women’s LSU track team won two SEC Championships and one NCAA Championship. She then went on to Nova Southeastern University in Jacksonville, FL, to achieve her master’s degree in physician assistant studies. Although a native of Long Island, New York, Stacy spent most of her life living in south Florida. She currently resides in Alexandria, VA, with her husband and two sons. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family, craft, travel and watch the Florida Gators play football.
