Tania Damavandy, MD

Dr. Tania Damavandy is a board certified OB-GYN and joined Inova in 2010. She works at the charity clinic at Inova Cares Clinic for Women and as a GYN Hospitalist at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Her duties include being a safety net officer, providing emergency services and surgeries for the uninsured and back-up services and surgery for private patients, and gynecological surgery to referral patients from the Fairfax County Health Department. She is also a teaching attending for our OB-GYN Residency Program and a clinical educator of medical students as an Assistant Professor at University of Virginia School of Medicine and Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. Dr. Damavandy's interests include minimally invasive surgeries, such as hysteroscopy and gynecological issues. She is also an active clinician in aesthetic medicine and has been an educator and international educator for the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.
