Expand Content Residents typically prefer to live in the Fairfax, Alexandria, Arlington or Washington, DC, area (or within a ten-mile radius). The Inova system office is located near a major DC metro area highway (I-495), which makes it accessible from all directions. Do you conduct interviews in the Personal Placement Service (PPS) during the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting? Expand Content Yes, we conduct and highly encourage interviews at PPS. We also will be present at the residency showcase. How will interviews be conducted for the 2021-2022 application cycle? Expand Content The application process will continue via PhORCAS and qualified applicants selected for an interview will be invited to complete a virtual or on-site (if possible) interview in early to mid-February. What system-level opportunities are available for the resident across Inova? Expand Content The PGY2 resident will have the opportunity to travel across the system and participate in activities including Ambulatory Care clinics. The available rotations also offer the resident opportunities to participate in system-wide initiatives.
