Nurse Observerships

The Nursing Observership Program provides an opportunity for college students or individuals seeking a career change who are pursing or interested in nursing to shadow a registered nurse in the hospital setting. Shadowing is for observation only. No hands-on activities are permitted. Shadowers are supervised at all times by an Inova registered nurse. For Adults 18 and Older Applicants must be current college students or other adults interested in a career change and a minimum of 18 years of age. Due to the high volume of requests we are not currently accepting applications for the Nursing Observership Program.
