The parenting class, the ABCs of Parenting, is an 8-week session that focuses on issues that are most relevant to parents of children ages 0-10. The parent support groups meet on an ongoing, weekly basis throughout the entire year and focus on a variety of topics, depending on the parents’ interests. In the playgroups, emphasis is on the importance of interacting with your child, ages 0-5, through play to help them develop and learn. There are no eligibility or residency requirements to participate in any of SCAN’s groups.
