Traditional Volunteer Opportunities Become a part of our winning team of volunteers who have dedicated themselves to helping our community and our neighbors in a time when they need us the most. Volunteer opportunities include working in the hospital, raising funds by operating the Gift Shop and Select Seconds thrift shop, and special fundraising events sponsored by the Inova Mount Vernon Hospital Auxiliary. The council membership will consist of recent patients and family members as well as hospital staff. The mission of the council is varied and may include the following: providing input and different points of view on programs, issues, and services that impact patient care.
