Prescription Drug Take Back Secure Prescription Collection Boxes at Inova In an effort to help reduce the risk of drugs in the home that can be a source of drug abuse, Inova has set up seven secure, safe drop-off locations across its hospitals. This is part of an effort to offer a convenient medication take-back option for easy disposal of leftover, unused and out-of-date prescription and over-the-counter medications. All medication must be placed in a sealed container. Multiple vials can be emptied into a zip-close bag for disposal.  Empty vials should be disposed of in the regular trash at home after removing or marking out personal information with a black permanent marker.
