Inova CATS Program maintains a stand-alone inpatient facility on the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus that specifically serves the needs of chemically dependent individuals. This inpatient treatment program is for individuals who are experiencing acute withdrawal from alcohol and/or other drugs and who require medical attention to safely facilitate detoxification. Inova CATS Program's patients experience detoxification in a comfortable, monitored environment. Our inpatient detoxification program includes: 24-hour medical care Psychiatric care Medication management Individual counseling Family counseling Aftercare planning The length of stay in a medically managed detoxification program varies according to the medical needs of each person.
