Multigated Acquisition (MUGA) or Cardiac Gated Blood Pool Imaging Scan  A MUGA or Cardiac Gated Blood Pool Imaging Scan, also referred to as equilibrium radionuclide angiogram (ERNA), uses a camera and computer to "image" the heart to determine its size and function.
