While in-person support groups are canceled, Postpartum Support Virginia is holding online support groups in addition to offering other virtual and telehealth services. Learn more Inova is pleased to partner with Postpartum Support Virginia, an organization that provides hope and help to women and their families who are experiencing anxiety, depression or other perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs). Being a new mom – or, being pregnant – can be wonderful. But, it can also be exhausting, overwhelming and frustrating. In fact, up to one in five new or expectant mothers struggle with anxiety and/or depression, making these the most common complications of pregnancy and childbirth.
