Children's Allergy and Immunology

The number of children with allergies, asthma and skin disorders such as contact dermatitis and eczema continues to rise dramatically. Childhood asthma is among the most serious and widespread health risks afflicting children today. The Inova Children’s Allergy and Immunology team are experts in understanding the unique ways that allergies and immunology disorders affect children. Our pediatric allergy specialists provide evaluation, diagnosis and treatment (including investigational therapies) for children and their families. The team works closely with many other pediatric specialties including Pulmonary, Gastroenterology, and Psychology and other pediatric partners at Inova and in the community so our patients can easily access the care they require, whether in a hospital or clinic setting.
